Eakin Cohesive Seals

Ostomy patients have a lot of things to worry about when it comes to their care and maintaining health. One thing they shouldn't have to worry about is developing skin irritations around the stoma or fistula. When there is not a proper barrier between the ostomy device and the patient's skin then a rash or sore can develop and create a very uncomfortable situation for a patient.

Eakin has created the perfect solution to this problem. Their Cohesive Seals are moldable rings that adhere to the skin and create a perfect barrier. This barrier keeps the devices from being directly in contact with the skin directly adjacent to the stoma as well as providing a waterproof barrier over the skin that is most likely to become irritated.

Eakin Cohesive Seals are pectin-based, which is a natural product created from the cell walls of plants. The seals absorb moisture quickly and effective. And the best part is that there is no cutting involved. The seals are able to be stretch and molded to fit almost any ostomy device on the market today.
