Rebound TENS Unit for Pain Relief


What is a TENS Unit?
A Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator, or TENS Unit, is used to treat pain. It sends small electrical pulses through the skin to the nerves.

The Rebound TENS Unit has two modes:

  1. High Frequency - A continuous, mild, electrical activity blocks the pain signal traveling to the brain. Brain cells perceive pain. If the pain signal does not get through to the brain, the pain is not “felt.”
  2. Low frequency - Short bursts of mild electrical activity cause the body to release its own pain easers called beta endorphins. This is done by stimulating the body’s own natural pain-control mechanism.

What Types of Pain does the Rebound TENS Unit Treat?
The Rebound TENS unit has been successfully used to treat many types of pain conditions, such as:

We have added more TENS / EMS and other electrostimulative products to our pain management mix. Like the Intelect TENS Dual Channel, for example.

We've also added a variety of Mettler Electronics Products, like the Mettler Sonicator 740 Portable Dual Frequency Ultrasound device, as pictured below.

We've also added a selection of Amrex Electrotherapy Units, including the Vectra Genisys Transport Laser Therapy Unit (san Laser Applicator).

We've also added a lot of new products to our Cold Therapy line, as well as our Heat Therapy line.

Like the CryoStim Prober Ice Massager. That thing looks cool. I'd like one of those.

TENS, or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators, work. Period. I know, as I know people have used them for effective pain management, and I have use them myself. DME offers a range of TENS and EMS electrotherapy equipment, such as the 2000T Stimulator TENS unit, the BioStim M7 TENS and the Biomed 2000XL TENS Unit.

But it doesn't stop there. We also sell a wide variety of electrodes, conductive gloves, conductive sleeves, self-adhesive electrodes, and even conductive back garments. Naturally, we also carry a wide range of leadwires for TENS and EMS devices and patches, tapes, gels and lotion for TENS, EMS and biofeedback applications.

Speeking of biofeedback, we sell biofeedback units, too. Just saying.

And, although the TENS systems can work wonders for back, shoulder and other pains, TENS and EMS aren't the only options we offer for pain management.
