Not sure how it'll work out. It's kind of expensive--not in and of itself, but because there's a per product charge, and we carry a lot of products that don't necessarily sell, but we offer them in order to be a full-service provider.
But here's a sample search for Ostomy products, for example. Definitely better than the typical Yahoo search results for "ostomy", I'm sure you will agree. Here's a search for "needles and syringes" using the new Nextopia search engine. Surely, better than the native Yahoo! Store search, but is it enough to justify the expense? That . . . that is the question. Here's a search for IV Poles using the Grid view. Pretty cool. Can sort by price and refine results and see how many results you've gotten . . . all the stuff the Yahoo! store search doesn't give us. And Yahoo! started out as a search engine. That's just kinda sad. Ah, well. More later, friends and neighbors. Labels: ecommerce search, medical supplies, nextopia, search engines, yahoo store by: DME Supply Group |
